Herbal Walk & Elderberry Syrup-Making Demonstration at Sailer Bar in Fair Oaks

  • Magnolia Ranch Trailhead Coloma Road Pilot Hill, CA United States (map)

Members: $25; pay through patient portal
Non-Members: $35; pay through the link below

Join Padma for a gentle herbal walk as we explore local wild herbs and discuss the basics of wild harvesting with care and respect for the land. This is a chance to connect with the plants that grow around us and learn how they can support our well-being.

After the walk, Padma will conduct a hands-on demonstration of how to make an herbal oil using freshly gathered St. John’s Wort. I’ll bring materials to show the process and provide an easy-to-follow description so you can try it at home.

If you'd like to make your own oil during the event, you’ll need to bring the following to participate:

  • A clean pint-sized glass jar

  • Enough olive oil to fill your jar

  • A small bowl to work with the plant

  • A pair of scissors

  • A blanket or towel to sit on

  • A light snack and water for your comfort
